The time has changed... and changes again...

Dear all my readers,

a little time has passed again and i decided, to post some new pictures.
I feel really good and happy at the moment.


It snowed, here in Salt Lake! :) (And I know, in my home country, too.)
It was white and cold and just sooooooooo nice.

It was a pretty wonderful day and I enjoyed it pretty much. It was beautiful.
Also if the snow decided to live again, at the same day.

The sun melted the snow and made the streets dry again. So the air was not too cold
that day. It was just a really nice weather.
The only place where the snow doesn't melt is the moutains around the city.

It looks just awesome. :)

But these days is the weather nt everywhere so nice. I want to make all the people remembering
to the huge storm which is destroying the east coast these days.
I can only pray for these people and I do it. I hope the best for them, their families, their friends.

We can only pray for those people who are losing their homes and who are living there
in the crisis area. We hope it will get better, as soon as anyways possible!

A week is gone...

Hey my friends,

I hope you all are good and feel very well.
I feel good so far. :)
I had a nice week and a beautiful weekend.
I felt a little alone, because my friends didn't have very much time in the week, but the weekend
was so beautiful and funny, though.
I have been in the new apartment of some friends and spent there a night, with some other guys.
It was pretty fun. I liked it very much. I think we should do it again soon. :D
Yeah, all in all I had a great week.
I really hope your weeks were good, too.

P.S. I am now already for like 2 months here. And there are only 8 months left.
            I hope, these will be the best 8 month I have ever had...

And then I will come back, to all of you my friends and family in Germany.
           But we don't think about this now. Because right now, I am here and will live my life.

A post after a "little" while... :)

Dear all my readers,

I am so sorry that I didn't write any posts for the last 2 weeks.
I will write now, about the things that happend and about everything else.
Last weekend I have been at Lagoon with some other exchange students, from all over the
world. Ame, my coordinator, invited us, to go with her to there. It was pretty amazing.
There are a lot of rides and a lot of hunted houses. They are amazing, creepy and very cool.
They had some special shows, like dance shows of skeletons and stuff like this.
At all I can say, it was pretty awesome...

After Lagoon we had the birthday party of my mom, Cheryl. It was beautiful!
Everything was sparkling and glittery and colored. It was very nice.
So also again at this point:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! :)

The rest of the weekend (means Sunday) was pretty lazy...
We were hanging around in the house, with our two guest until Wednesday Isaiah
and Chase. It was pretty nice. Just: being lazy... :D

All in all I had a very good weekend and a good last week...

Hey my friends, how are you doing?

Hey guys,
I hope you all are good. I am fine.
The next week is over now, I am now already for 5 weeks here and it is nice.
On Wednesday I was with Sylvia and her mom Karen in the Siegfried's.
It is a kind of German restaurant or they sell at least German food.
Goulash with Spaetzle were great. Yummi... :)
I posted also some pictures, about the German things they are selling there.
It is pretty expensive, but yeah, the stuff has a long way after it! It's true
I bought some milk-cream of Dr. Oetker and some chocolate, but yeah, how I
said: PRETTY EXPENSIVE!!!
The last days were very nice.
Friday was a very special day, what day I don't want to say, but some of you will know it.
On Saturday I went with some friends to the movie theatre here in Salt Lake and
we watched 'Finding Nemo' in 3D. It was kind of cool ;)

After this we went to Phoebe's house and had much fun with her TV.
It was 'awesome' how she tried to plug her HDMI cord in the jack of the TV!
Phoebe you're great, really :) And also thanks to Kendra for the nice evening...

Today were mom, Jacob and me at the electrical car show - "You're looking at the future!",
said the man there. It was nice, but it took quiet long, but it was fine though.

Yeah I think this is a good summary of my week. The next post will come soon...
I will write something about my school then, because someone had the wish.

Hey guys, how are you doing?
I am just happy. It is so nice that I can be here and that I have the chance to do this year.
I am already now sure that it will get a wonderful year.
Today was a kind of special day :)
Jacob has a new pet and not only him, me too! ;)
We bought 2 mice in the pet store.
His mouse's name is Oreo (because she looks like an OREO cookie - but it was not my idea,
it was Melanie's.)
My mouse's name is Chocolate (because she looks like bright chocolate - it was also Melanie's
idea. I'd have prefered Capuccino, but I also don't like it as name, so we choose Chocolate.) ;)

I will add some pictures tomorrow, because they are already sleeping and I don't want to
wake them up.
But I can tell you all: THEY ARE SOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!! :*
Mine is still a baby and Jacob's is also still very young. I love them both... ;)

This was one of the most exciting things that happend this week. It is only the 2nd day, I know, but who cares? :D

Yeah, what else could I tell you right now?! I really don't know.

 I think I can tell you more when I passed a couple days. I'll publish the pictures tomorrow
and also pictures of my life here. Like my family, my home, school, friends... yeah, things like this ;)

I am so sorry... :(

I am so sorry guys,
that I didn't write for so a long time.
Many of you waited for a "sign of life" and I didn't answer...
I am so sorry about this!

But now I am going to write something, that you can see:
- I am still alive. :)
- What I am doing at the moment.
- What I am thinking at the moment.
- What I am feeling at the moment

I am now for already 20 days in America. And I must say: I feel good.
My English is getting better from day to day.
I like the people, I love my family. It is just amazing.
I've now passed the first 2 weeks of school and I think I can say:
It is fine. I like the teachers, the students, nearly everyone.
I found friends who are so great. They are cordially, cosmopolitan and
so nice, I just can't describe it.

Mom, Jacob, Doug and me were on Sunday at a great jazz concert
in the Red Butte Garden, up in the mountains. It was awesome!
The music was so great, it was undescribable. I couls not only hear the music,
I could feel it and it was amazing. We stood up and celebrated the
musicians on the stage. It was wonderful.
I have to say again: Thank you Cheryl and Doug!
But I don't have to thank only mom, I have also to say thank you, to
Jacob. He took me in his family, too. And he is now like an older
brother for me. Thank you Jacob, also that you try to take care for me.

It is so beautiful, how the people take me in their hearts, here.
They welcome me so heartfelt, I can't say how heart touching it is.
THANK YOU!!! I can only say: Thank You!

This week I will go to visit the pool in the huge sports complex, here in
Salt Lake. I hope Jacob will join me, but I'll see.

Ok, I think I wrote now enough for the next few days and I hope I could
show you, how great I am feeling here.
I promise, that to my next post won't be a that long break!

With these words, I want to say good bye.

First day of school

I must say: Thank you God, that my first day was so good.
It was pretty cool. I like the students, the teachers, the school.
The only thing I could get crazy about: I don't got into the piano class I wanted.
Yes ok, creative writing is also pretty nice, but I NEED my piano...
It is necessary for life, for me! It helps me everytime.
If I feel bad or if I am not in good mood, if something bad has happend.
But also if I feel great! It's just a part of my life, a big part and I can't live
without it. It is soooooooooooo important. Like my family, like Julia
(she belongs to my family), like Cheryl and Jacob, like my friends, like
eating, drinking, like Facebook, like everything else what is necessary...
It is just my feeling. The music is part of my mood, part of my thinking,
part of my heart and many people know, how necessary it is for me!!!
Tomorrow I have a meeting with the counselor. I hope she can change
something. I hope it so much...

Everything else was pretty nice at the first two days. I know new people.
I think I made new friends and yes everything was good.
The only thing I don't understand: Who needs everyday an advisory?
And who needs a 55 minutes long advisory on Thursday's???
But ok, it isn't a too big problem for me. I can live with it.
One thing I can't live with is: THE "FOOD"!!!!
You can't name the "Hamburger" we got today as a HAMBURGER!!!
It was just a kind of scruffy stodge... It was really weird.
The uneatable "Chicken Nuggets" were much better, yesterday...
But ok. It is only the "food". I hope, that there will be something better the
next days.
But I have to say it (and sorry to all the people I am hurting with that!):
American "food" has absolutely, totally NO chance, to stand firm against
GERMAN FOOD! Because that, is really good. ;)
Maybe I should cook for all the people in my school only once, because
then they will never eat again, that kind of muddy "Hamburger"...
(I'm sorry, again. :? )

Ok, I think I should come to the end now.

I only want to say: German friends, send me pictures of you!
I want to hang them all at my wall. At the moment is it really empty!!!

Some great first days ;)

Hey guys,
How are you?? I am really fine.
I had some really great first days and today my registration at school.
My mom invited me, my brother and a good friend of him to a baseball-match this evening.
It was really great, also if the Salt Lake Bees lost... :(
But I think, the next time it will be better and then I will also get my really much wanted BASEBALL!! :)
Ok, now I will lie down in my bed and will sleep, but maybe I will watch a GERMAN ;) movie before.
Today we watched, I think 10 to 15 episodes of How I Met Your Mother. It was funny, crazy, "violent" and really great. :) In two days my school will start, I'm a little bit afraid, but I am sure: I am in good hands ;)

I want to send really many affectionate regards home to my family, to Julia and to my friends.
I love you all and I miss you!!!
But I must say: I LOVE TO BE HERE!

I am at my destination

Dear family, friends and other people who know me, :)
I am really fine.
Chicago was really great. A big city, with high towers and a huge airport!
Now I am here in Salt Lake City, Cheryl and Jacob took me really heartful in their family.
I'm so glad to be here. It's exiting! Yesterday, we were in the Rocky Mountains for eating
delicious Sushi and to, watch a great and funny play. It was fantastic even if I was really tired,
from the flight and the last days. I want to say thank you!
I think, it will get an absolutely great time.
But I must also say: I miss you all at home! The most my mom, my dad, my siblings
and my girlfriend.
Think of me, I think of you and don't forget you!
